From 1^st- till 4^th October, 2024, students of the first (bachelor's) and third (educational-scientific) levels of higher education in the specialty 182 "Technologies of the Light Industry" attended the largest event in the footwear industry – the International Specialized Exhibition "EXPO SHOES 2024." This event brought together leading manufacturers, designers, technologists and industry professionals from around the world, providing an opportunity to explore the latest trends and innovations in the footwear industry. There was footwear of Ukrainian manufacturers from Kharkiv, Dnipro, Brovary, Odesa and Chernivtsi, as well as international representatives from Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and Turkey.

The 1^st-3^rd-year students of the educational program "Fashion Industry" and postgraduate students Dariia Kaptiurova and Mariia Kravchuk explored a wide range of footwear, accessories, and leather goods. They had an opportunity to see the works of leading designers, communicate with experts in the footwear industry, and explore advanced manufacturing technologies.

Attending the International Specialized Exhibition of Footwear, Fur, and Leather "Expo Shoes 2024" became a powerful source of inspiration for students who aim to develop their skills and implement creative ideas in fashion and footwear design. Such events are an essential component of the professional training of future specialists who will be shaping the fashion industry trends tomorrow.
