On October 8, 2024, as part of the Design Week at KNUTD, assistant professor of the graphic design department, Daria Kurovska, and graduate student of the ESP “Design” Elizaveta Derevyanko, held a workshop on graphic drawing techniques, namely: diatype and dry needle. The participants of the event got acquainted with the history of the development of graphics and printing from the XV – XVI centuries, saw examples of works and, most importantly, reproduced graphic prints on paper in practice.

With the participation of the moderators of the master class "GRAPHIC TECHNIQUES: DIATYPY AND DRY NEEDLE" Elizaveta Derevyanko and Daria Kurovska, everyone could try dry needle technique and diatype and work with an etching machine.

The master class was announced as part of the Ukrainian design and innovation week, so among the participants were visitors of UDIW, as well as students and staff of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD.
