On October 10, 2024, during the week of law at the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design, Inna Kovalenko, associate professor of the Department of Private and Public Law, and students of the Department of Private and Public Law visited the Administrative Court of Cassation as part of the Supreme Court.

Students of higher education had the opportunity to follow all stages of the cassation process on the example of a specific application, from its registration to the delivery of a court decision. Accordingly, the students visited the office and archive of the Supreme Administrative Court, judges' offices and courtrooms. The highlight of the excursion was a staged court session, in which the students of the Department of Private and Public Law took part according to the scenario provided by the staff of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine. They could try themselves in the role of judges, representatives of the parties, witnesses, and also had the opportunity to ask questions about the specifics of the process to the representatives of the Supreme Administrative Court.

At the end of the event, a meeting was held with the chairman of the Cassation Administrative Court of the Supreme Court, Mykhailo Smokovich, at which he spoke about the work of the court, shared his life experience, and answered all the questions posed by the students.
