On October 10, 2024, as part of Design Week at KNUTD, a lecture titled "UX/UI Design in Metaverse Games" was delivered by Kateryna Chrichlow, a guest lecturer at KNUTD. The lecture was attended by students of the Bachelor's and Master's programs in "Multimedia Design," "Graphic Design," "Fashion Design," and "Design (by specializations)”, as well as the academic staff members, including Kalyna Pashkevych, Olena Vasylieva, Vadym Batrak, Valeriy Sklyarenko, Olena Slityuk, Volodymyr Padun, Olena Herasymenko, Ruslana Khinevych, Vadym Shynkarov and others.



Lecture highlights
Kateryna Chrichlow, a lecturer at Birmingham City University, designer, and member of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA, UK), discussed the fundamental principles of UX/UI design and the stages of interface design. The main focus of her lecture was on practical aspects and examples of UX/UI design products not only for game design but also in virtual museum and exhibition environments, where elements of game design are applied.

Kateryna Chrichlow also presented examples of projects implemented in recent years, such as the virtual space at Birmingham City University (BCU).

The lecture was attended by students and lecturers from all the departments of the KNUTD Faculty of Design. It generated significant interest among the audience. After the event, an informal discussion continued between the lecturer and attendees about the current and future trends in UX/UI and game design.
