On September 6, 2024, at the initiative of the Ukrainian Animation Association "UANIMA" in collaboration with the State Film Agency of Ukraine (Derzhkino), the Conference "Animation 2035: State, Business, Education. Presentation of the Strategy for the Development of Ukraine's Animation Industry" took place. The Conference focused on the overall strategy for the development of Ukrainian animation.

The staff members of the Department of Multimedia Design, including Olena Vasylieva, Vadym Batrak, Anatoliy Shapoval, and Margarita Ivanova, along with the students of the "Multimedia Design" educational program, such as Mariya Ponomarenko, Sofiya Berezhna, and others participated in the event.

During the conference, the speakers included representatives of the animation industry (producers from studios and independent creators), streaming platforms, distribution companies, television channels, grant funds, specialized festivals, and the educational sector. The discussions centered around the development of Ukrainian animation and strategies for its growth, from education to project implementation.
