On October 16, 2024, in accordance with the plan of interaction of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business with stakeholders, a round table was held with external and internal stakeholders of the educational and professional program “Entrepreneurship and Commercial Activity” of the bachelor's degree, specialty 076 “Entrepreneurship and Trade”.
Stakeholder engagement at the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business is a systematic process aimed at establishing and maintaining constructive cooperation with stakeholders of the Department's educational programs. This process lasts throughout the entire program cycle and involves a wide range of activities and approaches from information exchange and consultations to active participation of stakeholders in the educational process.
The meeting was moderated by Taliat Belyalov, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business, Doctor of Economics, Professor.
The roundtable was attended by members of the working group, academic staff of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Business, students of the educational and professional program “Entrepreneurship and Commercial Activity” and stakeholders.
The discussion in a hybrid format was held with the participation of representatives of the academic community, in particular: Samira Piletska, Doctor of Economics, Professor at the National Aviation University; Viktoriia Chobitok, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Marketing and Commercial Entrepreneurship at the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy, Psychology, Management and Adult Education of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Kharkiv; and employers of the educational and professional program and stakeholders from among the business partners of the Department: Oleksandr Peresypko, Director of World Green Systems LLC; Ennan Ashirov, Deputy Director of UKRUGIMPEX LLC; Amet Lumanov, General Director of OKSHINA LLC; Ruslan Alimov, Deputy General Director of FAV-KYIV LLC; Oleh Smirnov, General Director of OLDIM LLC; Remzi Eminov, Director of A-BUD LLC; Samir Gurdzhi, Director of YUG-TRADING GROUP.
Iryna Honcharenko, the guarantor of the educational program “Entrepreneurship and Commercial Activity”, began the meeting by describing the profile of the program, emphasizing its purpose and peculiarities, general, professional and program competencies, and noted the changes made to the educational program.
The internal and external stakeholders discussed a wide range of issues, including graduate employment, prospects for further development of the Department, and improving the content of the educational and professional program. They exchanged views on the content of the educational components.
As a result of the roundtable, the stakeholders' proposals for improving the educational and professional program were agreed upon, in particular, the proposal of Professor Samira Piletska, supported by the students, to use the opportunities to shape the direction of students' professional activities through elective courses was approved.
It is worth emphasizing the significant interest of the students in the development and improvement of the educational and professional program “Entrepreneurship and Commercial Activity”, which was manifested in a lively discussion.
The meeting allowed the working group headed by the guarantor Iryna Honcharenko to study the opinions of all the parties interested in the competitiveness of future graduates of the educational and professional program “Entrepreneurship and Commercial Activity” in the labor market. The guarantor expressed her gratitude to all the participants of the roundtable for their active participation and reasonable suggestions, and summarized that the opinions expressed will be taken into account when developing the curriculum and improving the educational and professional program for bachelors in the specialty 076 “Entrepreneurship and Trade”.
