A team of KNUTD students, consisting of Tetiana Sinkevych (specialty 281 Public Administration and Management of Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Modern Technologies), Iryna Trandafilova (specialty 182 Light Industry Technologies of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion), Polina Portiana (specialty 182 Light Industry Technologies of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion), and Dariia Tetvak (specialty 075 Marketing of the Faculty of Management and Business Design), recently returned from the Czech Republic after participating in unique academic mobility program at Mendel University in Brno!
From 13 to 20 of October, 2024, our students actively participated in the academic mobility session under the course programme "Academic Writing and Integrity," which is part of the large-scale project "Strengthening University Resilience: Czech-Ukrainian Partnership for Digital Education, Research Cooperation, and Diversity Management."
The participants had the opportunity not only to acquire deep theoretical knowledge but also took active part in various interactive activities. The week-long program included training sessions, seminars, and practical workshops aimed at enhancing skills in academic writing and understanding the principles of integrity in academic research. KNUTD students had the chance to work in international teams, exchanged experience with students from different countries, and were engaged in exciting group discussions and project work.
All participants successfully defended their final projects, in which they highlighted important aspects of academic integrity and modern approaches of writing academic papers. The project defense took place in the presence of faculty members and experts from Mendel University, where our students demonstrated a high level of preparation, creativity, and professionalism.
In addition to the academic activities, the program included different cultural events, allowing participants to become more familiar with the culture and traditions of the Czech Republic, as well as to establish new academic and friendly contacts.
We would also like to express our special thanks to the program coordinators, Ms. Nataliia Tkachenko and Ms. Nataliia Versal, for their continuous support, professionalism, and creation of a conducive learning environment, which contributed to the successful completion of the program.
This program was not only an opportunity for our students to gain new knowledge and practical experience, but also an important step to their professional growth and in strengthening KNUTD's position on the international level.
We are proud of our students and sincerely congratulate them on the successful completion of the academic mobility program!
