On October 24, 2024, KNUTD hosted the Student Poster Contest “Save ENERGY-2024” (“Збережи ENERGY-2024”), which is held annually within the framework of the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Energy Efficient University”.

The purpose of the Contest is to form environmental awareness and an active life and social position to the problems of society, which is achieved by combining training with exhibition and project activities. The Contest featured design projects of students of the educational and professional program “Graphic Design” of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education.

In a solemn atmosphere, all the winners of the Contest were awarded diplomas. On behalf of Rector of KNUTD, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician Ivan Gryshchenko, diplomas were presented to the winners of the Contest by Vice-Rector Liudmyla Hanushchak-Yefimenko, Vice-Rector Volodymyr Statsenko, Director of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies Ihor Panasiuk, Dean of the Faculty of Design Kalyna Pashkevych, and Head of the Department of Graphic Design Ruslana Bezuhla.

For many years, the project has been curated by Oksana Maznichenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Graphic Design; the students’ supervisor is Ruslana Bezuhla, Doctor of Art History, Head of the Department of Graphic Design; co-organizers of the exhibition are Associate Professor Oleksandr Krotevych, PhD in Art History and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Graphic Design Alla Osadcha.

The student posters were made in close cooperation with the teachers of the Department of Graphic Design of KNUTD: Associate Professor Oksana Maznichenko, Associate Professor Oleksandr Krotevych, Associate Professor Sviatoslav Podlevskyi, Senior Lecturer Alla Osadcha, and Assistant Daria Kurovska.
