On 24 October 2024, the Department of Fashion Technology held a regular meeting on the topic “Handmade for the soul, creativity and business ideas” as part of the scientific club “Hand-made for the soul, creativity and business ideas” under the guidance of Antonina Babich, PhD, Associate Professor, and Tymofii Lypskyi, PhD, Associate Professor.

The event was held at the Department of Fashion Technology, KNUTD. The leaders of the club, Antonina Babych and Tymofii Lypskyi, held a seminar in the above-mentioned thematic format, introduced the club members to modern innovations in fashion products, handmade ideas, considered modern materials, methods and means for manufacturing products in this segment.

During the meeting, the students presented their creative works (beadwork, drawings, interior dolls, paper vine products, etc.) and read out their reports. In the discussion, the members of the scientific club discussed the sources of inspiration and technologies for making and decorating products to create original works and present them in various creative competitions.

The creative atmosphere of the club inspired the participants to acquire new professional knowledge and encouraged them to work with a variety of materials and techniques in the handmade craft to create modern, exclusive products to meet their own needs and those of potential consumers.
