For more than 20 years, the KNUTD Faculty of Design has been training designers of clothing, accessories, furniture and interior design, photo and video designers, and graphic designers. While studying under the faculty's various educational programs, students from different departments create creative collaborations when developing coursework and qualification papers.
An interesting experience was gained by students-designers of the educational programs «Fashion Design» and «Multimedia Design» during joint photo shoots held on October 19-25, 2024, for course work in the discipline «Shaping and Layout of Clothing», practical work in the discipline «Composition in Multimedia Design» and preparation for the International Competition of One Image and New Year and Christmas Decor «Constellation ««Chestnut»».
For a fashion designer, it is important not only to be able to reflect your idea in a sketch and embody it in the material, but also to present the completed image in the best possible way. Fashion photography gives an idea of the integrity of the image, emphasizes the plasticity and characteristic features of the model and is an integral part of the fashion designer's portfolio.

For applicants for the Multimedia Design program, it is important to master the art of fashion photography, which involves familiarizing yourself with the philosophy and aesthetics of the fashion photography genre, the stages of preparation for shooting, the basic techniques and specifics of photography, the choice of poses and angles of the model.

The creative cooperation was attended by the students of the program «Fashion Design» Daryna Bovsunovska, Polina Pylypenko, Nataliia Posmitiukha, Maria Samofalova and Andriana Gakh and the students of the program «Multimedia Design» Kateryna Stepanchuk (model), Anna Vovnenko, Veronika Kyrychenko, Diana Stepanenko, Daria Kukharchuk, Polina Portiana, Taisiia Hunko.

The curators of the artistic educational collaboration were the teachers of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD Iryna Davydenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Art and Costume Design, member of the Union of Designers of Ukraine, and Valerii Skliarenko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Multimedia Design, member of the Presidium of the National Union of Photographers of Ukraine.
