On 29 October 2024, the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted the solemn announcement of the winner and awarding of the participants of the competition for a named scholarship from the leader of the domestic pharmaceutical industry Farmak JSC. This is the second year in a row that the pharmaceutical company has provided financial support to talented students of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy for their high achievements in education and research.

At the beginning of the event Doctor of Economics, Professor, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation Liudmyla HANUSHCHAK-YEFIMENKO delivered welcoming remarks on behalf of the Rector of KNUTD Ivan GRYSHCHENKO. She emphasised the importance of the university's partnership with Farmak JSC and noted that the scholarship project is one of the proofs of effective cooperation and a vivid example of business support for education.

The floor was then given to Svitlana GUREYEVA, Head of department of technological development of R&D Department of Farmak JSC, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor. She noted the Company's commitment to support young and ambitious students, because in such a difficult time for our country, it is imperative to enable higher education students to be confident in themselves and the future. And financial support in the form of a personalised scholarship from Farmak JSC is an additional motivation for gifted students to keep going and to fully master their chosen profession despite all the challenges.

Svitlana Mykolayivna briefed the audience on the stages of the competition and the evaluation criteria, stressing that the winner was chosen not only on the basis of academic performance, but also on scientific achievements, participation in conferences and competitions, publication activity, etc.

Tetiana SAVYTSKA, a student of the second (master's) level of higher education of the MEС-24 group, won the competition among many applicants. Her achievements were highly appreciated by the commission of experts of Farmak Pharmaceutical Company.

Iryna VOSKRES, Specialist of the Recruitment and Staff Adaptation Department of Farmak JSC, expressed her admiration for the achievements of the winner and presented her with a well-deserved award – a certificate for a named scholarship from JSC Farmak for the academic year 2024-2025. All other contestants received incentive prizes from the pharmaceutical company.

Tatiana DERKACH, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Dean of Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies and Volodymyr BESSARABOV, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Professor of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy, delivered the greetings.

The staff of the Department of Industrial Pharmacy sincerely congratulates Tetiana SAVYTSKA on this well-deserved achievement and wishes her further success in her studies and new heights in her professional career.
