On October 16, 2024, a training session titled "Preparing Project Proposals under the Jean Monnet Action: Content and Technical Aspects" was held at the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO) in Kyiv, with the support of the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. During the event, participants had the opportunity to learn about the specifics of preparing project proposals, including the technical aspects of completing applications and the opportunities provided by the program.
The training was conducted by an expert in the field, the Project Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, Petro KRAINIK. Mr. KRAINIK delivered a professional presentation and openly shared his experience in preparing project proposals, as well as the technical aspects of working within the European EU Funding & Tenders Portal system.
Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design was represented at the training by Anna SINILKINA, a specialist in the International Educational Programs Department, and Natalia FASTOVETS, Director of the Center for Employment and Career Development.
The event provided the academic community with practical tools for developing high-quality projects in the field of European studies, which can contribute to integrating the values of the European Union into the educational processes of Ukrainian institutions.
The training covered the key areas of support under the EU's Jean Monnet program, which include promoting the incorporation of European expertise into the curricula of Ukrainian educational institutions, supporting the creation of thematic networks to facilitate knowledge exchange among educational institutions across EU countries, and fostering dialogue between the academic community, the public, and policymakers to raise awareness about European processes.
Information on the deadlines for submitting project proposals under the Jean Monnet Action ("Module," "Chair," and "Center of Excellence"), set to launch in November 2024, was particularly relevant for the academic community. More information about the program's opportunities can be found at the link: Erasmus+ Jean Monnet.
This training represented an important step in preparing Ukrainian institutions to participate in international projects and in strengthening the ties between Ukraine and the EU through educational initiatives!
