For more than 10 years, the National Bank of Ukraine has been organizing events to mark World Savings Day, the main goal of which is to promote the idea of saving and increase financial literacy. The testing is aimed at developing awareness of various groups of the population on financial management, investment and savings decision-making, which are key skills for a successful personal and professional life.
The test covered a wide range of topics: from the basics of financial planning to investments and credit management. The students had an opportunity to test their level of financial awareness, assess their skills in managing personal funds, and review modern financial instruments. Such experience is invaluable for future professionals, as it develops practical skills that will be useful not only in their professional life but also in everyday financial decisions. The test was a unique opportunity for students to assess their own level of financial literacy and identify strengths and weaknesses in their knowledge.
After participating in the test, the students of the Faculty of Management and Business Design shared their impressions, emphasizing the value of such events for their future profession. Many of the participants noted that the test allowed them to assess their level of financial literacy knowledge and better understand key aspects of personal financial behavior, savings and investment planning. A post-test survey of participants showed that such events are not only an educational tool, but also a powerful incentive for personal development, preparing young people for the realities of the modern financial world.
