On October 25, 2024, on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, the Department of Digital Art NNIKKI held a round table for higher education students of the EPP “Digital Art”, on the topic “Synergy of the literary and fine arts heritage of Taras Shevchenko”, which summarizes the study of materials in the National Taras Shevchenko Museum. In September, the students of the EPP “Digital Art” visited the National Taras Shevchenko Museum and had an opportunity to touch the creative heritage of the outstanding writer and artist Taras Shevchenko.

Students were familiarized with the museum's collection. Familiarization with the museum’s collection, which consists of unique values: original paintings by T. Shevchenko, documents about his life and work, handwritten lists of his poems, rare photographs of the poet and his friends, first editions of Shevchenko’s works with his autographs, almost all editions of the poet’s works and literature about him, from lifetime to modern domestic and foreign editions, made a powerful impression on the students.

The roundtable participants discussed the influence of Taras Shevchenko’s work on the formation of national consciousness and his contribution to the development of world literature. Indeed, this is an important aspect of the process of teaching and upbringing of students, which encourages students to study the cultural and historical heritage of Ukraine in depth and explore Kyiv’s museums.
