On November 7, 2024, as part of World Science Day, a delegation of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, consisting of the Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Activities, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Prof. Lyudmyly HANUSHCHAK-YEFIMENKO, Head of the Research Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Lyudmila HALAVSKAYA, Head of the International Institute of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Assoc. Prof. ARABULI, and Professors of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Conservation, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Bohdan SAVCHENKO and Doctor of Technical Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Volodymyr KHOMENKO, joined the World Science Day: Deeptech to DefenseTech event. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Brave1 Development Support Cluster in Ukraine.

The event, which was held at the Kyiv Aviation Institute, was attended by representatives of more than 60 higher education institutions, 40 scientific institutions, 5 ministries and defense sector institutions. The main goal of the event: to join efforts to cooperate between scientists, developers and business representatives to accelerate the introduction into production of innovative developments that will bring victory closer.

The event brought together almost 300 participants from various industries and sectors of the Ukrainian economy, in particular, heads of higher education institutions, scientific institutions, researchers who have ready-made developments and innovative solutions for defense and dual-purpose purposes, as well as representatives of central executive authorities that form and implement policy in the defense and science sectors.
