From November 4 to 8, 2024, the XXIX All-Ukrainian Biennale Review-Competition of Qualification Works for graduates of architectural, design, and art specialties was held at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. Graduates of the "Environmental Design" bachelor’s and master’s programs from the Department of Interior and Furniture Design at KNUTD participated in the competition. Danylo Kosenko, PhD, Head of the Department, was invited to join the Competition's reference panel to evaluate submissions in the "Interior Design" category.

On November 8, Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor; Danylo Kosenko, PhD, Head of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design; and Oleksandra Shmelova-Nesterenko, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department, visited the exhibition of competition works and participated in the award ceremony for the winners.

As a result of the Competition, KNUTD graduates took prize-winning places:

- in the category "Interior Design" (Bachelor):

1st place: Mariia Moskalenko (Supervisor: Danylo Kosenko)

2nd place: Mariia Yashchenko (Supervisor: Oleksandra Shmelova-Nesterenko)

- in the category "Interior Design" (Master):

1st place: Natalia Terletska (Supervisor: Oleksandra Shmelova-Nesterenko)

2nd place: Viktoriia Zakutenko (Supervisor: Oleksandra Shmelova-Nesterenko)
