On November 13, 2024, with the support of the "UK-UKRAINE TWINNING INITIATIVE" project, an online lecture by guest lecturer Jake Goodall on the topic "New approaches in motion design" was held for KNUTD students majoring in multimedia design. The lecture was attended by students of the EPs "Multimedia design", "Graphic design", "Digital art" of the bachelor's level and "Design (by types)" of the master's level of higher education, as well as teachers of the Faculty of Design Olena Vasylieva, Ruslana Bezuhla, Marharyta Ivanova, Olena Slitiuk, Volodymyr Padun, Anatoliy Shapoval, Olena Slitiuk, Ruslana Khinevych, Olena Herasymenko and others.
Sheffield Hallam University is a partner of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design under the "Twinning" project. The lecture series for KNUTD students from Sheffield Hallam University is coordinated by Roger Bateman, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design, and Pam Bowman, Lecturer in the Visual Communications Program.

Jake Goodall is Senior Lecturer in the Graphic Design Education Program at the Creative Industries Institute at Sheffield Hallam University. His lecture was devoted to issues such as digital motion design, artificial intelligence (AI) and physical architecture in motion design, which was considered as a design approach that combines digital animation and spatial elements in a real environment, creating interactive and emotional rich visual experiences. The author talked about modern approaches to the development of motion design projects, the principles and techniques of their creation. The main focus of the lecture was on the issues of technologies and techniques for the development of motion projects.

The lecture aroused considerable interest of the listeners, and after the end of the event, a lively informal discussion continued between the lecturer and the listeners regarding the technologies for the implementation of motion design projects and the prospects for the development of multimedia design.
