On Thursday, December 6, 2024, a meeting of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies was held, dedicated to preparing Doctors of Philosophy in the speciality 133 Industrial Engineering.
Several topics were discussed at the meeting, including the status of implementation of individual research plans by fourth-year graduate students, discussion of research topics for students who applied to study in 2024, and publication and inventive activity of graduate students by approved dissertation topics.
The discussion was attended by the guarantor of the educational-scientific program “Industrial Engineering”, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Institute of Engineering and Information Technologies Ihor Panasiuk, who emphasized the need for a thorough choice of research areas for applicants, which will be relevant and meet modern challenges to solve the problems of the engineering industry.
The Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Borys Zlotenko, made a speech that noted the publication activity of graduate students and their participation in filing applications for patents. He also expressed his gratitude for the active participation in the organization of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Mechatronic Systems: Innovation and Engineering”, which took place on November 7, 2024, at KNUTD.
A report was made by Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Candidate of Technical Sciences Oleksandr Manoilenko, who, as a scientific adviser, provided information on the state of preparation of dissertations by 4th-year graduate students.
The meeting was held in a friendly scientific atmosphere and contributed to solving topical issues for the organization of high-quality training of doctors of philosophy in the speciality 133 Industrial Engineering, educational and scientific program “Industrial Engineering”.
