On December 7-8, Kyiv hosted the Summit of Progressive Educators 2024, a unique platform for innovation and cooperation organized by the NGO “Progressive” with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. The event brought together leading educators, international partners, and representatives of government institutions to address topical issues in the education sector.

The representatives of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design – Vira Burnazova, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture, and Oksana Halabuzar, Associate Professor of the Department of Philology and Translation – joined key discussions and strategic planning aimed at addressing current challenges in education, making a significant contribution to solving pressing issues in the educational sphere.

This year’s Summit has become a platform for new partnerships, discussing innovative approaches and planning for the future. In particular, the participants identified the key development priorities for 2025, including the development of vocational education, support for displaced teachers, expansion of the Islands of Progress program, strengthening international cooperation, and promotion of progressive educational initiatives.
