CERTIFICATION OF GRADUATES OF THE SECOND (MASTER’S) LEVEL OF HIGHER EDUCATION UNDER THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM “PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (TECHNOLOGY OF LIGHT INDUSTRY PRODUCTS)”

On November 27, 2024, a meeting of the Examination Commission (EC) for the defense of qualification works of the second (master’s) level of higher education of the educational program “Professional Education (Technology of Light Industry Products)” in specialty 015 Professional Education (by specialization) was held at the Department of Professional Education in Technology and Design.

Graduate certification was conducted in the form of a public defense of qualification works (projects). The Examination Commission was composed of the following members: Head of the EC – Kateryna Vorobei, Deputy Director for Methodological Work of Kyiv Professional College of Art and Service Technologies, members of the EC – Maria Bilyanska, Doctor of Pedagogy, Head of the Department of Postgraduate Studies, Oksana Vodzinska, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Fashion Technology, Tetiana Struminska, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Fashion and Style, Rymma Kyrychenko, Candidate of Psychology, Associate Professor of the Department of Postgraduate Studies. Natalia Ostapenko, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion, Doctor of Technical Sciences, took part in the meeting of the Examination Committee.

The qualification works (projects) presented for defense are aimed at solving research and innovation problems and problems of vocational education. In particular, Yulia Ostapchuk considered the problem of pedagogical conditions for the formation of communicative competence of students of vocational (vocational and technical) education institutions; Valeriia Farina studied the adaptation of a future teacher to teaching in a vocational (vocational and technical) education institution; Nadiia Shatun studied the vocational and practical training of tailors with the design of a women’s sundress decorated with ancient Ukrainian patterns; Nadiia Hlotova – vocational and theoretical training with the design of a women’s jacket; Yulia Klenova also traced the professional and practical training of cutters in the design of women’s clothing using corsets; Daria Koval – the formation of the professional image of a future teacher of a vocational education institution; Anastasiia Ahafonova – the environmental competence of future tailors during vocational training; and Iryna Kysorets – continuing education in design and technology of the textile industry.

In the process of studying under the educational and professional program, the students have mastered professional competencies in vocational education and the fashion industry; they formed the ability to solve complex problems and innovate in professional activities in the specialty 015.36 Professional Education (Technology of Light Industry Products). All the presented qualification works are informative and interesting. We congratulate our master students on their successful defense.
