DISCUSSION OF EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS "SOFTWARE ENGINEERING" AND "IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT"

On May 28, 2024, a discussion of the educational and professional programs "Software Engineering" and "IT Project Management" took place on the basis of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design. Stakeholders, representatives of the scientific community and students of higher education took part in the event. The discussion took place in a mixed format, which allowed to unite participants from different parts of the country.

The moderator of the event was the head of the department of information and computer technologies Vladyslava Skidan. During the discussion, the guarantors of the educational programs presented updates and key aspects of the programs: Antonina Volivach presented the "IT Project Management" program, and Volodymyr Pavlenko the "Software Engineering" program.

The dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies Borys Zlotenko, the head of the Department of Computer Sciences Natalia Chuprynka, Vitaly Svatko – mentor of SoftServe Academy, Nataliya Lishchyna – head of the department of software engineering at the Lutsk National Technical University, Oleksandr Golubenko – head of the department of computer science and software engineering at the International Scientific and Technical University named after Academician Yuriy Bugai, Oleksandr Mazur – Director of the Department of Development and Support of Digital Technologies of MHP PrJSC, Yevhenii Udovychenko – manager of educational programs of SoftServe, Mykhailo Zheleznov – project manager of SoftServe Inc., Maksym Muzyka – EPAM software testing automation engineer, Ilya Bachurin – Co-founder of Product IT Foundation for education, social psychologist, training methodologist and trainer for more than 50 companies in Ukraine and the world, incl. Fortune 500 companies as well as students – Olena Uchen, head of the BIST-22 group, and Kristina Kalinina, student of the BIP-22 group took an active part in the discussion.
