On December 19, 2024, students and lecturers of the Faculty of Design took part in the opening of the All-Ukrainian collective art exhibition "SUNFLOWER - A VIEW OF THE SUN". The exhibition collects together People's and Honored Artists of Ukraine, laureates of International and All-Ukrainian art awards and competitions, creative youth from different regions of Ukraine, who presented 273 works of art - paintings depicting a sunflower, which is one of the national symbols of Ukraine. The largest number of paintings (more than 60 works) on the theme "sunflower" at the exhibition were presented by lecturers, graduate students and students of the Faculty of Design of KNUTD.
Organizers of the large-scale exhibition as part of the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Exhibitions "Where "Sunflower" is - it's sunny!" – Alla Gorbunova, president of the International Charitable Foundation "Soniashnyk", Iryna Drobot, director of the Museum of Theater, Music and Film Arts of Ukraine and Serhii Komisarov, honored journalist of Ukraine, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
The exhibition opened in the Museum-workshop of I.P. Kavaleridze (director of the museum – Oleksandr Yunin) and gathered connoisseurs of modern fine art from Kyiv and various cities of Ukraine.
The organizers of the exhibition expressed their gratitude to the rector of KNUTD Ivan Gryshchenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the National Pedagogical Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for his personal contribution to the development of exhibition activity, for the education and support of creative youth.
At the exhibition, artists, lecturers of the Faculty of Design presented their paintings: Professor Yevhen Gula, Professor Anatoly Shapoval, Associate Professor Oleksandr Krotevych, Senior Lecturer Alla Osadcha, Associate Professor Oksana Maznichenko, Senior Lecturer Oleksandr Vasyliev, as well as bachelor's and master's degree students from all departments of the Faculty of Design. Lecturers, students and graduate students of KNUTD were awarded Diplomas and Gratitude.
Oleksandr Vasyliev, deputy dean of the faculty of design, Alla Osadcha, senior lecturer of the department of graphic design, Iryna Svergun, graduate student of KNUTD, Ruslana Bezuhla, head of the department of graphic design, provided effective help in organizing a large-scale exhibition from the university.
