On November 25, 2024, with the support of Kharkiv IT Cluster, a guest online lecture was held by invited speaker Kateryna KAZACHKOVA, Product Designer, on the topic «UI, UX, CX: Theory and Practice of the Product Life Cycle.» The lecture was attended by first-year bachelor’s degree students of the educational programs «Software Engineering» and «IT Project Management, » as well as academic and teaching staff of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Computer Technologies at Kyiv National University of Technology and Design: Vladyslava SKIDAN, Oleg Nikоnov, Antonina VOLIVACH, Yurii LEBEDENKO, Dmytro NOVAK, Vladyslav PYLYPENKO and Maksym SUKALO.
During the lecture, participants had the opportunity to learn how to create products that literally make users fall in love with them from the first click. The speaker, Kateryna KAZACHKOVA, thoroughly explored topics related to the fundamentals of User Experience (UX) design, User Interface (UI) design, and Customer Experience (CX), explaining how these three elements interact with each other to create a harmonious and effective product.
Participants had the chance to explore the product life cycle from both a theoretical and practical perspective. This allowed them to better understand the product development processes at various stages, from ideation to launch and maintenance. Special attention was given to adapting the product to user’s needs, considering modern trends and design tools.
The lecture included interactive elements such as discussions on current issues related to creating user-friendly and attractive interfaces, as well as practical tasks aimed at reinforcing the knowledge gained. A special value was the delivery of the lecture in English, which contributed to enhancing the participants’ professional competencies and language skills. Participants had the opportunity to share their ideas, ask questions, and receive professional recommendations on improving their products.
