PARTICIPATION OF TEACHERS AND STUDENTS OF THE ICT DEPARTMENT IN A WEBINAR FROM KARKIV IT CLUSTER WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE UNIVERSITY CUP - UCUP – 2025

On March 13, 2025, students for higher education of the first (bachelor's) level of specialties 121 Software Engineering and 126 Information Systems and Technologies together with the teaching staff of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies - Head Vladyslava Skidan and Associate Professor Antonina Volivach took part in the webinar “Effective Time Management for Students: Skills of Planning and Time Management during Study”.

The event was organized by Kharkiv IT Cluster within the framework of the University Cup - UCUP - 2025 together with SoftServe. The webinar was moderated by Anastasia Tarabanova (Kharkiv IT Cluster) and the speaker was Stasia Serb (SoftServe), Program Manager.

During the webinar, Stasia Serb introduced the audience to the key methods of effective time management. She spoke about the basic principles of time management, including setting SMART goals, the Reverse Planning technique, the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) method, daily planning, prioritization methods, including the Eisenhower Matrix and the Pomodoro technique.

Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of day planning and ways to avoid procrastination, which allows you to work without stress.

At the end of the webinar, the audience actively participated in a Q&A session. Among the topical issues were: How to effectively combine study, work and personal life? How to maintain high productivity throughout the day?
