On March 18, 2025, as part of the ongoing tradition of involving industry professionals in the educational process during the study of professionally oriented courses, an online meeting was held between students of the "Tourism and Recreation" and "Hotel and Restaurant Business" specialties at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design and Predrag Tosic, a professor at the School of Hotel and Tourism Business (Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina), on the topic "Modern Technologies and Trends in Culinary Arts."
Predrag Tosic, a Master of Culinary Arts and professor at the School of Hotel and Tourism Business in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, has over fifteen years of experience in the hospitality industry and is the author of numerous culinary books.
During the meeting, students explored cutting-edge culinary technologies, including 3D food printing, high-tech grilling and smoking methods, and high-pressure food processing. They also learned about multisensory and immersive techniques in gastronomy.
A key highlight of the session was an introduction to contemporary books on food science, which provided additional insight into the scientific foundations of culinary innovation.
