On April 3, 2025, UlyanaBalan, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Digital Art of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Culture and Creative Industries, conducted a workshop on diatype printing for first-cycle (bachelor’s level) students under the program “Digital Art”.

During the workshop, second-year students explored the technology of diatype printing – a unique technique that creates expressive artistic effects through the distinctive formation of lines, textured spots, and color gradients. UlyanaBalan provided a detailed explanation of the method, its historical development, and its modern applications in art. The practical part of the event allowed students to experiment with the technique firsthand, creating their own graphic compositions.

Such events are an essential part of the educational process, as they not only deepen students’ knowledge but also foster creative development, encouraging experimentation with various techniques and materials.

The Department of Digital Art will continue to organize similar workshops to further enhance students’ professional competencies.
