On March 26-28, 2025, as part of the XVI International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions - 2025”, the VI All-Ukrainian Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Online Conference “Ukrainian Society in the Prospects of Development: Historical, Socio-Political, Educational and Pedagogical Aspects” was held. This conference served as a significant platform for dialogue and cooperation between scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, sectoral academies, university professors, representatives of educational institutions, postgraduate education institutes, psychologists, and social pedagogues.
The conference addressed issues related to rethinking and expanding the history of Ukraine and promoting it globally. Discussions focused on identifying current challenges in Ukrainian society based on the principles of freedom, equality, respect for human dignity, human rights, and the rule of law. The event also highlighted educational and pedagogical trends aimed at enhancing national education and outlined strategies for developing gifted children and youth in the context of Ukraine’s ongoing struggle for independence and territorial integrity.
The solemn event was opened by Vasyl KREMEN, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, President of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, who greeted the participants and guests of the event and emphasized that science and education are the driving forces of the state’s development, as they train competitive specialists for the military and post-war economy.
Leading scientists and representatives of organizations also greeted the participants with motivational speeches, including: Serhii PYROZHKOV, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Oleh RAFALSKYI, Doctor of History, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Director of the I. F. Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies; Stanislav DOVHYI, Doctor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, President of the National Center “Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”.
At the plenary session of the conference, Alla Semenova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Professional Education in Technology and Design at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design, delivered a report on “Subjectivity of the Spiritual and Intellectual Personality of Future Specialists in Technology and Design” (Conference recording: https://www.youtube.com/live/Z_rIs7h9lK0 ).
