The work of a teacher is very difficult, emotionally intense and responsible, but without the work of teachers, a decent future is not possible. It is very pleasant when your work is not in vain, when you feel its results in your actions and see the grateful eyes of your students.
From February 10 to March 08, 2025, 4th year students majoring in 015 “Vocational Education (by Specialization)” underwent an educational (pedagogical) practice at the Kyiv Vocational College of Technology and Fashion Design and the Kyiv Vocational College of Art and Service Technology. The head of the practice from KNUTD is Inna Kosiak, PhD, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Professional Education in Technology and Design.
During their placement at vocational education and training (VET) institutions, future teachers, recognizing the importance of educational, developmental, and pedagogical objectives, not only prepared class notes and delivered lessons in both theoretical and practical training of skilled workers in the light industry, but also organized educational activities on relevant topics, coordinated with the practice supervisors from the VET institutions.
In planning and conducting their lessons, the future teachers consistently applied general didactic principles and incorporated innovative teaching methods. Guided by psychological principles of learning, they aimed to stimulate students’ intellectual, emotional, aesthetic, and physical engagement by using various teaching formats, diversifying tasks, and selecting appropriate visual materials. This approach sparked interest and enhanced students’ motivation for their professional development.
As a result, KNUTD students majoring in 015 “Vocational Education (by Specialization)” successfully passed their teaching practice, demonstrating a high level of professional competence and confirming the rightness of their chosen career path.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the practice supervisors and the directors of the aforementioned VET institutions, Svitlana Petrovych and Natalia Horbatiuk, for their fruitful cooperation with the Department of Postgraduate Studies at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design!
