On March 10, 2025, a roundtable with stakeholders of the educational and professional program "The English language: translation in business communication" of specialty B 11 Philology of the bachelor level of higher education, namely, with representatives of the academic community, employers, public organizations and associations and all interested in social partnership, was held at the Department of Philology and Translation.

The meeting became one of those regular events held by the staff of the Department of Philology and Translation of the Institute of Law and Modern Technologies and aimed at improving the educational and professional program and strengthening its practical orientation.

The discussion was moderated by the Head of the Department, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Yelizaveta Isakova, guarantor of the educational and professional program.

The guarantor emphasized the importance of involving stakeholders in updating the educational and professional program for constant improvement of its content in accordance with the state of science and needs of the modern labour market, and introduced the main provisions of the programme "The English language: translation in business Communication", its main goals and educational components that contribute to the formation of general and professional competencies, as well as the achievement of program learning outcomes.

The participants of the roundtable took an active part in the discussion of the educational and professional program. The community generally positively assessed the content and organization of the educational process in accordance with the educational and professional programme "The English language: translation in business communication", the quality of its implementation. The stakeholders shared their views on the process of training translators and interpreters at higher education establishments of Ukraine and also provided suggestions for making changes in the list of educational components with the purpose to deepen the study of certain topics and increase the quality of specialist training.

Following the results of the roundtable, the guarantor and members of the group of providing the educational and professional program "The English language: translation in business communication" approved to take into account a number of proposals from stakeholders with the purpose of its updating and improving.
