On April 11, 2024, another meeting of participants in the international academic online mobility project took place, which brought together lecturers from the Faculty of Design of the KNUTD, King AbdulAziz University (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia), Texas State University (USA), University of North Carolina Greensboro (USA).
In the fall of 2024, the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project “Fashion for a Good Life” was successfully implemented, in which more than 20 students of KNUTD participated. Therefore, partners from educational institutions in Ukraine, the USA, and Saudi Arabia met to discuss the details of the next COIL project, which is planned for implementation in the first semester of 2025-2026 academic year. The project will be dedicated to responsible clothing consumption and will promote cultural exchange among students, virtually uniting students and teachers from different countries for learning and creative communication.
During the meeting, Kalyna Pashkevych, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Design, lecturers of the Department of Art and Fashion Design Iryna Davydenko, Associate Professor, Maryna Yatsenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor discussed with partners the concept and stages of implementing a joint international project. It is planned that students will conduct research in multicultural teams and perform tasks to highlight the concepts of sustainable clothing consumption. The project involves improving and studying individual modules of the educational components of the Educational Programs, which is implemented at faculty of Design KNUTD, within the framework of international cooperation with universities.
