On April 15, 2025, an important meeting of students and teachers with Colonel-in-Chief Vyacheslav Yurievich Popelny took place at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Culture and Creative Industries of the KNUTD .

During the meeting, Mr. Vyacheslav acquainted higher education applicants with the opportunities for military training as part of the KNUTD Military Training Educational and Scientific Complex, which operates on the basis of the Department of Military Training of the National Defense University of Ukraine.

Particular attention was paid to:

• the benefits of the reserve officer training program, particularly for students of all forms of education (both boys and girls);
• employment opportunities in the security forces of Ukraine,
• obtaining exemption from basic military service;
• the relevance of military training as a prerequisite for civil service.

The colonel emphasized that students of the KNUTD have the opportunity to study in the military-accounting specialty "Organization of material, food, commercial and household and skipper's support", which has practical significance and opens up new professional horizons.

The following information was also announced:

• The start of accepting documents has already started from February 1, 2025,
• beginning of military training from September 1, 2025,
• Location of classes: Kyiv, Mala Shiyanovska St. , 2, educational building No. 3, 4th floor.

The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the students received comprehensive answers to all questions and were invited to personally communicate with representatives of the Department of Military Training.

The administration of the National Institute of International Relations and Cooperation expresses its sincere gratitude to the Pole Mr. Vyacheslav for the meeting, because at a time when the struggle for the independence and security of our state continues, awareness of personal responsibility, readiness to defend one's country, acquire professional knowledge and act for the good of society are extremely important. It is such initiatives that form a new generation of young leaders - conscious, educated and devoted to Ukraine.
