MEETING OF THE LEADERS OF ACADEMIC GROUPS AT THE FACULTY OF DESIGN

At the Faculty of Design of KNUTD, is constantly paid attention not only to the educational, but also to the pedagogical process. The employees of the dean's office actively interact with the group leaders and students for the effective organization of students' studies and life.

On April 18, 2025, the traditional meeting of the head of academic groups, which is held at least once a semester, was held at the Faculty of Design. The initiators of the event were Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Oleksandr Vasyliev, Deputy Dean for Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Philosophy and Olena Gerasymenko, Deputy Dean for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor.

The meeting was attended by the heads of groups of bachelor's and master's degree programs: "Fashion Design", "Environmental Design", "Graphic Design", "Multimedia Design", "Design (by type)".

 

During the meeting, important issues were discussed:

  • updating students' contact details;
  • compliance with the procedure for keeping the academic group journal;
  • attendance at classes and discipline in groups;
  • motivation of students to actively participate in sports, scientific and scientific-technical activities, etc.;
  • activity of students in the public and cultural life of the university;
  • participation in cultural, educational and national-patriotic events;
  • participation of students in activities to clean the adjacent territories of the university buildings and dormitory No. 7.

The group leaders, in particular Maksym Maksaev, Diana Stepanenko, Veronika Omelyanchuk, Alisa Vetrova, Polina Kvyatkovska, Anna Nikolayenko and others discussed current issues of self-government with Victoria Stepanets, the head of the student government of the Faculty of Design, and her deputy, Darya Karpenko, as well as other organizational aspects of the educational process.

Special attention was paid to the topic of psychological support for students in difficult wartime. The importance of maintaining a friendly atmosphere in teams and following the algorithm of actions during an air raid was emphasized.
