The team of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design took part in the first module of the Academic Managers Professional Development Program, which is an initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science, implemented by the British Council within the framework of the joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science and the World Bank “Improving Higher Education for Results Project (UIHERP) in Ukraine”.

This program is aimed at improving the professional competencies of academic managers, in particular in the field of university management, strategic planning and development of partnerships with business.

During the training, the participants of the Program considered the key trends in the development of higher education in Europe and Ukraine, the features of university governance, mechanisms of interaction of universities with stakeholders and the community, the implementation of the third mission of universities.

The team of the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design presented the university's profile, presented cases on the role and mission of the university, its place in the development of the state, region, sectors of the economy, community and business.
