On April 25, 2025, once again, the Ukrainian Polymer Forum (UPF) was held with the participation of KNUTD. Among the participants of the event were the head of the Department of Chemical Technologies and Resource Saving Viktorіia Plavan, together with stakeholders and employers, postgraduate students of the Department Oleh Lozoviy and Artem Kolodiy. The UPF is a platform for communication of all participants in the Ukrainian plastics industry: polymer processors, suppliers of polymer raw materials and additives, producers of secondary granules, as well as many related companies-consumers of plastic products. For us, this event was a good opportunity to learn about new products and technologies, Ukrainian legislation in the field of waste processing, promising areas of polymer recycling in Ukraine. The issues of technological support and personnel training were not left without attention. Participation in panel discussions, exchange of views, and information received will certainly be useful for the development of our educational programs in chemical technology and environmental engineering.
