From April 14 to 16, 2025, the I stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in the discipline “Energy Management” for specialties 141 “Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics” and 144 “Thermal Power Engineering” was held remotely at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. The main goal of the Olympiad was not only to identify and support talented student youth, but also to organize effective interaction between teachers of all the departments that train specialists in the field of energy efficiency and energy management in Ukraine.

The Olympiad was attended by over sixty participants from various higher education institutions of Ukraine, who demonstrated their knowledge and practical skills in a competitive environment. Anton Iglinsky and Anton Duy, students of Group BEM-23 at the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies, participated in the Olympiad from Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. Volodymyr Nycheglod, an assistant at the Department of Computer Engineering and Electromechanics, was appointed responsible for the preparation for the Olympiad from KNUTD.

According to the results of completing all the competition tasks, Anton Iglinsky won the third prize. This is a significant achievement for the development of the specialty 141 “Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics” at KNUTD.
