On April 11, 2025, Х All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative Trends in the Training of Specialists in the Conditions of Polycultural and Multilingual Globalized World", organized by scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Philology and Translation of the Institute of Law and Modern Technologies, was held at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design.
The conference was conducted on the initiative of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the support of the International Project Intrepid-Hei. Co-organizers of the conference are T.H. Shevchenko National University “Chernihiv Collegium”, the State University “Kyiv Aviation Institute”, Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav, Odessa State Agrarian University, Donbas State Engineering Academy (Ternopil), the Academy of Applied Science – Academy of Management and Administration in Opole (Poland).
The solemn opening of the conference began with an address by Liudmyla HANUSHCHAK-YEFIMENKO, Doctor of Science in Economics, Professor, Vice-Rector for Research and International Cooperation of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. In her welcoming speech, the vice-rector emphasized the importance of scientific work for modern specialists, the importance of learning foreign languages and wished the audience diligence and productive work.
The moderators of the event were Tetiana VLASIUK – PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Director of the Institute of Law and Modern Technologies and Yelizaveta ISAKOVA – PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Philology and Translation.
The conference was attended by more than 100 scientists, teachers, graduate students and students of higher education institutions in Kyiv, Pereiaslav, Odessa, Lviv, Dnipro, Chernivtsi, Kryvyi Rih, Kherson.
Four platforms worked within the framework of the conference:
1. Innovative methods of foreign language training of specialists.
2. Professional development of specialists in the era of globalization: experience, problems, prospects.
3. Current issues of foreign philology and translation studies.
4. The world economy: challenges of globalization and multicultural environment.
