On May 5, 2025, the “Art Space” Exhibition Center at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design hosted the opening of a personal exhibition “Strategy of Dominance” by Olesia Rybchenko, an artist and Associate Professor of Digital Art at KNUTD. This unique exhibition showcases an art project that was launched in 2022.

The personal exhibition was opened by Ivan Gryshchenko, Rector of KNUTD, Doctor of Economics, Professor, and Academician of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. Ivan Mykhailovych emphasized that the event holds significance not only for the University but also for prospective students, as art events help popularize and broaden the scope of engagement. They attract international guests, artists, art historians, museums, galleries, as well as scientific and educational institutions for potential collaboration.
The event took place in the “Art Space,” a venue dedicated to showcasing the results of creative experiments by talented representatives of contemporary Ukrainian art – KNUTD faculty members who share their rich experience with students.

The host of the event, Liudmyla Ardeliian, Honored Artist of Ukraine, famous Ukrainian theater and film actress, Associate Professor of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture of KNUTD, presented the project.

The grand opening of the exhibition was attended by Yevhen Gula, a Ukrainian artist and educator, member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Honored Education Worker of Ukraine, and founder of the Ukrainian School of Graphic Art and Design. He warmly congratulated the artist and praised her creative and unconventional approach to working with students.

Among the distinguished guests at the opening of the art project was Ostap Kovalchuk, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Professor of the Department of Fine Arts at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, PhD in Art History, Associate Professor, who congratulated the artist and emphasized the high level of organization of art projects at the University.

On the occasion of the grand opening of the personal exhibition, Kostiantyn Cherniavskyi, Chairman of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Honored Artist of Ukraine, Academician of the International Academy of Education and Science, PhD in Art History, Associate Professor of the National Academy of Arts, congratulated Olesia Rybchenko on the project and emphasized the special place of art, which reflects the events of our time and helps to survive difficult times.
