EXCURSION OF KNUTD EMPLOYEES TO BEREMYTSKE NATURE PARK AND CRAFT BREWERY

With the support of the Primary Trade Union Organization of University Employees, an excursion was organized to the Abramovych Sculpture Park (near the city of Brovary, Kyiv region), the Beremytske Nature Park (near the city of Oster, Chernihiv region), and a craft brewery in the village of Khotyanivka, Kyiv region.

The educators and their families visited the Abramovych Sculpture Park, located on the outskirts of the village of Bohdanivka near Brovary. The park was established in 2018 by renowned Ukrainian art dealer Ihor Abramovych, founder of the Abramovych Art Project. The main concept of the park is to foster a continuous dialogue between humanity, art, and nature. More than 20 works by sculptors from across Ukraine are displayed in the open air.

The next part of the excursion program was a visit to the Beremytske Nature Park. This nature conservation area spans 500 hectares and is located on the left bank of the Desna River. Established in 2017, the Beremytske Park encompasses the flora and fauna at the intersection of the Dnieper-Donets Basin and the Ukrainian Crystalline Shield. The park’s main concept centers on the restoration of the Podesenye ecosystems through the use of rewilding methods, aiming to create diverse, mosaic landscapes, particularly through natural grazing.

While visiting the park, the excursionists had the opportunity to learn about the history of its founding, enjoy stunning views, see various herbivorous animals, visit the petting zoo, and take vivid photos surrounded by nature.

The second part of the excursion continued at HOTT’S Craft Brewery. The brewery was founded with the goal of creating beverages for people with the same care and quality as if they were made for the brewers themselves. The passionate team at HOTT’S has successfully combined traditional brewing methods with modern technologies and their own creative vision, focusing not on mass production, but on crafting truly delicious, unique signature drinks.

During the visit, the tour group had the opportunity to learn about the beverage production process, explore specialized brewing equipment, and enjoy a tasting session of the brewery’s craft drinks.

All the participants enjoyed the excursion, gaining many positive emotions and lasting impressions from their interaction with colleagues and the natural surroundings.
