Traditionally, in February and March, students pursuing first (bachelor’s) and second (master’s) level degrees in the educational programs “Multimedia Design” and “Design (by types)” undertake industrial and pre-graduation internships at enterprises specializing in multimedia design.
From February 10 to March 8, 2025, students from the Department completed internships at a variety of modern Ukrainian companies across different ownership structures. These included LLC “Karandash” Animation Studio, LLC “Chervonyy Sobaka” Animation Studio, LLC “Rentgen Film” Production Studio, private entrepreneur Shedlovskyi R.M. (specializing in web product development), LLC “IMAGE Photostudio,” among others. These companies, specializing in animation, motion graphics, video and photo content, graphic design, and web products in the field of contemporary multimedia design, offered students a valuable opportunity to deepen their theoretical knowledge and enhance their practical skills gained during academic studies.
For bachelor students, the internship was highly engaging, informative, and professionally enriching. They actively participated in real-world projects aligned with the topics of their practical and qualification works. Their tasks included creating animation clips, developing graphic materials for social media and advertising campaigns, and producing photo and video content for digital platforms. Students were involved in video shooting and editing, visual effects creation, post-production, studio photography, interface design, and other related tasks.
Completing pre-graduation and industrial internships at the enterprises and their outcomes
During their internships, students became acquainted with the organizational structure of the enterprises, workplace setup, and the specific technical processes involved in the development of various multimedia design products. Beyond technical tasks, they took part in team discussions, presented their own ideas, worked on real client projects, and adhered to production deadlines gaining firsthand experience with the pace and demands of modern multimedia production.
Fourth-year students enrolled in the “Multimedia Design” educational program used their pre-graduation internships not only to enhance their practical skills but also to conduct research related to their qualification projects. They developed sketches, concepts, and practical elements of their individual projects directly at the host companies. The results of these efforts were later submitted to and showcased in various national and international competitions.
The practice is conducted by Oleksii Yasakov, the production studio LLC "Rentgen Film".
The internship is conducted by Roman Shedlovsky, web designer
Graduate students of the second (master's) level of higher education completed industrial training focused on the in-depth study of modern technologies and innovations in multimedia design. Working on projects in real production environments, they analyzed the specifics and capabilities of various production processes.
Company supervisors gave high marks to the students' professional competencies, with some receiving job offers as a result of their performance. Particular praise was given to their creativity, persistence, enthusiasm for learning, and strong motivation to gain hands-on experience.
