On April 22, 2025, the Maria Zankovetska Museum hosted the grand opening of a solo exhibition by the renowned Hungarian photographer János Eifert titled "Dance – My Love." The exhibition was attended by lecturers from the Department of Multimedia Design, Vadym Batrak and Anatolii Shapoval, along with bachelor’s degree students of the "Multimedia Design" educational program, including Oleksandra Umanets, Anna Kodenko, Kateryna Bilenchuk, and others.
The exhibition became a landmark event for art enthusiasts, as János Eifert is not just a photographer, but a true “master of the lens.” He is a member of various national and international associations, with over 200 solo exhibitions in 40 countries around the world. The FIAP (Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique)—the world’s largest photographic art association representing 85 countries—has honored his work with the EFIAP/s (Excellence FIAP Silver) and ESFIAP (Honorary Distinction) awards.
For his outstanding photographic work, János Eifert received the Rudolf Balogh Prize, Hungary’s most prestigious professional photography award, in 2021. He was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the World Association of Hungarian Photographers.
During the exhibition opening, János Eifert joined virtually from Budapest. He gave an online speech and responded to visitors’ questions.
At the exhibition, students and faculty of the Department of Multimedia Design at KNUTD had the opportunity to explore the author’s finest works, which capture movement, emotion, and the harmony of dance. Thanks to the lector`s commentary and the artist’s visual language, the viewing experience was engaging and accessible to everyone.
Such events are extremely important for shaping the aesthetic taste and professional vision of future designers, providing valuable experience in engaging with professional art at the international level and inspiring their own exploration of visual style.
