On May 16, 2025, the international jury determined the finalists of the anniversary 25th International Young Designers Competition "PECHERSKI KASHTANY ".
The meeting of the Competition jury was chaired by Alla Kasych, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Activities (Educational Activities) KNUTD, Doctor of Economics, Professor. She noted the high level of creative works submitted to the Competition by young designers of clothing, footwear, fabrics, accessories, 3D objects, textile products, etc.
This year, about 300 works were submitted to the Competition by participants from educational institutions in Ukraine and around the world, including China, Greece, Romania, Moldova, Albania, Great Britain, Latvia, and Georgia. The works were evaluated by famous designers, leading experts in the fashion industry, and heads of industry enterprises from Germany, Italy, Great Britain, the USA, Albania, Belgium, Moldova, Romania, Latvia, and Ukraine. The members of the international jury evaluated the submitted works and made a decision on their passage to the finals.
Director of the Student Center for Fashion and Creativity Natalia Chuprina, Doctor of Art History, Professor, Head of the Department of Art and Fashion Design of the KNUTD, summarized the assessments of the international jury in the nominations "Clothing", "Shoes and Accessories".
The discussion was attended by Kalyna Pashkevych, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Tetiana Struminska, Head of the Department of Fashion and Style, Olga Garanina, Head of the Department of Fashion Technology, as well as other members of the Competition jury: Natalia Pervaia, Olena Gerasymenko, Iryna Davydenko, Halyna Kokorina, Maryna Yatsenko, Liliia Navolska, Viktoriia Kernesh and others. The members of the competition jury from foreign countries – Eugene Ryabenki (Moldova), Angela Skripchenko (Moldova), Leila Keknavelidze (Georgia), Nataliia Rozhyn (Great Britain), Nadiia Kudryavtseva (Germany), Oleksiy Kraevsky (Ukraine), Jan Gritzfeldt (Ukraine) and others joined online.
Based on the results of the rating evaluation, members of the international jury formed a rating list of participants and determined the finalists of the Competition.

The final show of the 25th International Competition of Young Designers "Pecherski Kashtany" and the awarding of the winners will take place on May 30, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (Building 1, Assembly Hall, 4th floor).
