On May 5, 2025, second-year students of the “Environmental Design” educational program (bachelor’s level), accompanied by guest lecturer of the “Design Projecting” course and interior designer Iryna Abramova, as well as senior lecturer of the Department of Interior and Furniture Design Natalia Ryshkevych, visited the head office of the furniture company “ViYar”.

During the excursion, the students were introduced to a wide range of materials and furniture fittings displayed in the showroom, along with modern samples of furniture facades, lighting systems, and decorative elements. The company representatives explained the specifics of selecting materials for interior design projects and demonstrated how designers can interact with clients using the company’s digital services.

Particular attention was paid to the practical aspects of the showroom’s operation, including customer service, project support, and the organization of space for product presentation. The students also gained insights into current trends in furniture design and explored potential opportunities for collaboration with the company.

This visit was a valuable addition to the educational process, broadening the students’ understanding of the real tools and materials used in contemporary environmental design.
