As part of the celebration of Science Day, on May 20, 2025, the Department of Tourism and Hotel and Restaurant Business hosted a masterclass titled “Scientific Approaches to Organizing the Work of a Modern Restaurant Enterprise” led by the renowned chef of the T.C.Pizza chain, Serhii Saman.
Students of specialties 241 “Hotel and Restaurant Management” and 242 “Tourism and Recreation” took part in the event, gaining valuable practical insights and engaging in a lively discussion about the current challenges and innovations in the restaurant industry.
Chef Serhii shared his experience in implementing innovative technologies in kitchen operations, discussed principles of team building, personnel management, and quality standardization, and emphasized the importance of continuous improvement in the food service business. Special attention was paid to how theoretical knowledge can be effectively applied in everyday restaurant operations.
The meeting took place in a warm and inspiring atmosphere. Students noted that the session provided not only motivation for professional growth but also a deeper understanding of the connection between theory and practice in the hospitality industry.
