LECTURES BY PRACTITIONERS FOR STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF ARTS AND FASHION ON CAREER DAY

On May 5, 2025, as part of Career Day, Colonel Viktor Drychyk, Head of the Material Support Standards Development Group at the Administration and Standardization Department of the Central Department for the Development of Material Support, delivered a lecture to students of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education majoring in 182 “Technologies of Light Industry”.

 

Viktor Mykolayovych spoke about the features of protective military clothing used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including its completeness and color schemes, which vary depending on the branch of the troops and the conditions of use. He noted that military uniforms are governed by the material support system for military personnel, regulatory documents, and official orders. This system covers the provision of uniforms, clothing, footwear, protective equipment, insignia, accessories, household items, sports gear, sanitary supplies, stationery, technical equipment, and more.

 

The lecturer paid special attention to the relevance of developing military clothing for women. He emphasized that currently a scientific approach is required to regulate the sizes for the design, manufacture and labeling of military clothing in accordance with NATO standards.

 

 

 

 

The students learned about modern and innovative materials for the manufacture of military clothing, which increase the protection of a serviceman during combat missions. The lecturer also focused on the components of property that must be taken into account when developing military clothing.

The students listened to a meaningful lecture with interest and asked questions to Viktor Mykolayovych.

On May 7, 2025, students and teachers of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion were visited by Maryna Kozhushko, HR manager of the company “Reklamny Textile” and Iryna Nazarenko, clothing designer.

The representatives of the company told in detail that the company “Reklamny Textile” has been successfully operating in the Ukrainian market for over 34 years, combining high professionalism and care for people. The management is proud of the fact that they have created a family atmosphere at the enterprise, where each employee can work successfully and devote time to their family. The main production facilities are located in Vasylkiv and Bila Tserkva, the design and technological workshop is in Kyiv.

 

Maryna Kozhushko reported that the company won a European grant, thanks to which it received funding for the purchase of modern industrial sewing and cutting equipment. For design and construction work at the production facility, CAD systems “Investronika” and “Julivi” are used.

The company’s product range includes specialized clothing, such as medical and corporate apparel. Notably, “Reklamny Textile” was the first company in Ukraine to introduce colored medical uniforms for doctors. Its client portfolio includes well-known brands such as Nova Poshta, Ukrtelecom, Epicenter, Novus, OKKO, WOG, Fora, Dobrobut, Eva, and many others. Several of these companies have maintained partnerships with “Reklamny Textile” for over 15 years. In addition to production, the company offers branding services for finished products, including embroidery (including 3D embroidery), appliqué work, silk-screen printing, and more.

As company representatives emphasized, people are the organization’s greatest asset. To support new employees, the enterprise has implemented an adaptation system in which each newcomer is assigned a personal mentor. The company also offers real opportunities for career growth at the production site – for anyone who is motivated, advancement is possible from entry-level positions to management roles.

 

The company “Reklamny Textile” takes an active part in social charity projects, in particular, in the manufacture of adaptive clothing for military medics of the “Azov’s Angels” brigade. Looking to the future, the company is focused on growth and expansion into European markets. Key goals include achieving certification in accordance with European standards and establishing production facilities in Europe, paving the way for international development and broader market presence.

At the end of the meeting, Maryna Kozhushko invited the students of the Faculty to visit the company’s production facilities, where they could learn more about the technological processes, equipment operations, and product manufacturing technologies firsthand. Additionally, the students received an invitation to consider employment opportunities with the company.
