PRACTICAL MASTER CLASS FOR STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

On May 1, 2025, a practical master class on “Creating a TODO-list of APIs to prepare for .NET developer interviews” was held for students of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies (specialties F2 “Software Engineering” and F3 “Computer Science”).

The speaker at the event was Bohdan MOLCHANOV, backend engineer at Healthy Ukraine LLC, who shared his relevant knowledge, practical skills and personal experience in .NET development.

The event was moderated by Vladyslava SKIDAN, Head of the Department of Information and Computer Technologies, and Nataliia CHUPRYNKA, Associate Professor of the Department, PhD in Engineering.

The event was organized to support students seeking to improve their practical skills and effectively prepare for technical interviews in the IT field. As part of the master class, the participants learned the basics of creating a RESTful API using ASP.NET Core; implemented the basic functionality of a TODO list: creating, viewing, updating, and deleting tasks; reviewed the structure of API projects, SOLID principles, working with databases through the Entity Framework; and worked out approaches to error handling.

In addition to the technical part, Bohdan MOLCHANOV provided valuable advice on preparing for technical interviews, shared information on current requirements for .NET developers, labor market trends, and real-life cases from his professional experience.

The event was held in the format of an open dialogue: participants actively asked questions, discussed common mistakes and received useful recommendations for further development.

The staff of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies sincerely thanks Bohdan MOLCHANOV for the inspiring master class and cooperation, and all participants for their activity and interest in modern technologies!
