Throughout March 2025, regular meetings of the student scientific club “Stage Dialogue” were held at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design. This time, the meetings were devoted to active preparation for a landmark event in the scientific life of students – the IV All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Integration of Science and Education: Development of Cultural and Creative Industries”, scheduled for April.
Under the guidance of the club’s leader, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Performing Arts and Culture Vira BURNAZOVA, club members discussed the key areas of reports and future research. The main focus was on topical issues of integrating modern technologies into theatre arts, finding innovative approaches to training future specialists, and the role of cultural and creative industries in the modern world.
Thanks to their enthusiasm and desire to study theatre arts in depth, the students actively shared ideas and discussed potential topics for research papers and presentations. They considered the possibilities of applying multimedia technologies and discussed cases of successful combinations of practical and theoretical issues in the field of performing arts. Ultimately, specific topics for presentations were identified, which are planned to be presented at the upcoming conference. In particular, “Contemporary cinema between tradition and experiment: analysis of new trends” (Artem Korobka, first-year student majoring in 026 Performing Arts, Group BAMP1-24), “Adaptation of Ukrainian actors to a multicultural environment: challenges, strategies and recommendations for students” (Yelyzaveta Hladun, first-year student majoring in 026 Performing Arts, Group BAMP1-24), “The Influence of Social Media on the Development and Popularisation of Contemporary Art” (Kira Stulnikova, first-year student majoring in 026 Performing Arts, Group BAMP1-24), and others.
The meeting took place in a lively and harmonious atmosphere. The participants demonstrated a deep understanding of contemporary trends in theatre arts and a willingness to engage in scientific discourse at the national level. Developing cross-disciplinary skills and familiarising themselves with innovative technologies that open up new opportunities for creating interactive theatre formats remain priority tasks for “Stage Dialogue”.
Preparation for the IV All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Integration of Science and Education: Development of Cultural and Creative Industries” is an important stage in the scientific activity of students. It allows them not only to deepen their theoretical knowledge, but also to present their own work to a wide audience, gain valuable experience and establish new scientific contacts.
We wish the participants of the “Stage Dialogue” club fruitful work, inspiration and successful performances at the upcoming conference!
