On May 20, 2025, second-year students majoring in 026 “Performing Arts” at Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (from Professor L.M. Somov’s workshop) presented a vibrant and spectacular acting performance titled “Square Theatre”, which also served as their final exam.

The students presented excerpts from plays based on the works of Carlo Goldoni, William Shakespeare, Aristophanes, and Niccolò Machiavelli. Each production was a true event – bursting with energy, humor, dynamism, and genuine emotion. The performances captivated the audience with acrobatic stunts, dance routines, physical expressiveness, and improvisation – all hallmark elements of street theatre.

The audience included students from other courses and specialties, as well as teachers, friends, and theatre enthusiasts. Everyone present was impressed by the high level of preparation, the actors’ dedication, and the immersive atmosphere of a true theatrical performance in the “Kovcheh” training laboratory.

This day proved that theatre thrives wherever there is talent, inspiration, and a love for the stage. We sincerely thank the students for their hard work, the teachers for their guidance and support, and the audience for their warm applause and genuine emotional response.
