On May 19, 2025, the Faculty of Arts and Fashion of the University held an art event on textile decoration as part of Textile and Light Industry Week. The event was organized and conducted by the student self-government and the trade union organization of the faculty students—Maria Maisak, Karina Maistik, Polina Tsaruk, and Daria Davydenko. The young people held a master class on making textile decorations with their own hands, demonstrating their skill, creative potential, and ingenuity.
The handmade textile products were presented to the university rector Ivan Gryschenko, members of the rectorate, and colleagues at the university.
The highlight of the art event was the Textile Tree, a symbol of the growth and development of the Faculty of Arts and Fashion. The author and creator of the art object was student Kirill Tsygankov. The tree became not only an exhibit, but also an interactive platform for guests of the event: everyone had the opportunity to leave their wishes for the faculty on a decorative leaf of the tree. Among the messages were sincere words of support, wishes for peace, harmony, goodness, well-being, stability, and prosperity for the Faculty of Arts and Fashion, as well as rapid development of the fashion industry, the introduction of modern technologies, and continuous growth.
We are proud of our students, who fill every event with special meaning with their energy, creativity, and talent. We are grateful to everyone who took part in this artistic event for your sincere smiles, heartfelt wishes, and positive emotions! Thanks to you, this day became a wonderful celebration of creativity, unity, and inspiration!
