On May 26, 2025, a public lecture by Professor Chiara Gualandi from the University of Bologna (Faculty of Chemistry “G. Chamician”) on the topic “Obtaining materials by electrospinning: principles of forming, mechanical characteristics and promising areas of application” was held for students of the Faculty of Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Technologies. The lecture was moderated by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr KHOMENKO.

The lecture was especially useful for students of the master’s educational program “Chemical Technologies of Polymer and Composite Materials” within the framework of the courses “Innovative Technologies of Polymer Materials”, “Physico-Chemical Properties of Polymers and Methods of Their Control”.

Cooperation between KNUTD and the University of Bologna began during the implementation of the international research project 101103752 – GR4FITE3 “Graphite resilience for lithium-ion battery anodes through a sustainable European end-to-end supply chain” of the Horizon Europe program, scientific director Volodymyr KHOMENKO.
