MARKETING AMBASSADORS: KNUTD STUDENTS PROMOTE THE PROFESSION AMONG SCHOOL STUDENTS

During March and April 2025, higher education students majoring in D5 “Marketing” at the Faculty of Management and Business Design of Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) actively participated in career guidance activities held in general secondary education institutions across Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine.

First-year students enthusiastically visited schools and lyceums, including those where they once studied themselves, to share their personal experiences of studying at KNUTD. They spoke about the specifics of the educational process, the advantages of the D5 “Marketing” major, its practical focus, interdisciplinary nature, and broad employment opportunities after graduation. Such initiatives not only help promote the university but also foster a meaningful connection between current students and future applicants, inspiring schoolchildren to make informed educational choices.

During their visits, students delivered interactive presentations and facilitated branding mini workshops that generated great interest among schoolchildren. In their talks, they highlighted current trends and challenges in the marketing field, emphasizing the importance of analytical thinking, emotional intelligence, creative problem-solving, and the effective use of digital tools – all of which are essential components of a successful marketing career today.

A particular focus was placed on promoting the image of KNUTD by showcasing the benefits of studying at the University. School students learned that the educational process in the D5 “Marketing” program combines a solid theoretical foundation with practical training, offers internships in marketing companies and agencies, and provides opportunities to participate in national and international festivals, conferences, and competitions. Academic mobility and international exchange programs were also highlighted, giving students a global perspective and valuable advantages in the job market.

Schoolchildren demonstrated a high level of engagement, actively asked questions, and eagerly took part in the interactive sessions and discussions. Some even subscribed to the social media pages of the Department of Marketing and Communication Design and the university to stay informed about news, events, and opportunities for future applicants.

For the students, participation in these events became a valuable experience in public speaking, preparing presentations, and engaging with youth audiences. The Department of Marketing and Communication Design sincerely thanks all participants for their initiative, communication skills, and genuine passion for the marketing profession.

It is thanks to such young ambassadors that the D5 “Marketing” major gains new meaning and continues to attract motivated prospective students to the KNUTD community. Participants included:
